This box is part of the Lovely and Amazing series. Mounted on the back wall is text written by the artist about the dangers of holding a tarantula in the palm of a hand. A beautiful tarantula specimen that has fallen apart is presented in its various parts, some cast in epoxy, some in a custom made lucite box.
